These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Finvuo website located at https://finvuo.com and any bookkeeping or accounting services provided by Finvuo, an independent bookkeeping consultant serving clients across the United States (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website, submitting a contact form, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or services.

1. Services

Finvuo provides the following bookkeeping and financial organization services to small businesses in the United States:

  • Bookkeeping Cleanup & Catch-Up: Historical transaction review, reconciliation, duplicate removal, and corrected financial reports
  • Monthly Bookkeeping: Ongoing transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting
  • Small Business Accounting: Financial statement preparation, chart of accounts management, cash flow analysis, and reporting
  • Services specifically exclude: Income tax preparation, tax filing, audit representation before the IRS, or any service requiring a CPA license.

Finvuo is an independent bookkeeping consultant. We are not a licensed CPA firm, tax advisor, financial planner, or law firm. Nothing in our services constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice.

2. Engagement and Agreement

Services are initiated only after both parties agree to the scope of work, pricing, and timeline through a written proposal or service agreement. A free assessment call does not constitute a binding service engagement. Work begins only upon your written acceptance of a project quote.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All services are priced on a flat-rate basis. You will receive a clear, itemized quote before any work begins
  • Pricing is based on the volume of transactions, the number of accounts, and the period of time covered
  • Payment is due before work commences unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, and other methods specified in your service agreement
  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD)

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Once work has commenced, no refunds will be issued for completed work
  • If a project has not yet started and you cancel within 48 hours of payment, you are entitled to a full refund
  • If a project is cancelled mid-way through completion, payment is due for the portion of work completed, prorated based on the agreed flat-rate price
  • Monthly bookkeeping subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice. No partial month refunds will be issued
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@finvuo.com

5. Client Responsibilities

To deliver accurate and timely services, we require the following from you:

  • Timely access to your financial accounts, bank statements, and bookkeeping software as needed
  • Accurate and complete information about your business transactions
  • Prompt responses to any clarification questions (we target 48-hour response windows)
  • Notification of any changes to your business structure, accounts, or financial practices

We are not responsible for errors, delays, or inaccurate deliverables resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

6. Confidentiality

Finvuo treats all client financial data as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your financial information to any third party without your written consent, except as required by law. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data during the engagement.

7. Intellectual Property

All financial reports, cleanup summaries, and deliverables produced by Finvuo for your specific engagement are delivered to you upon full payment. Finvuo retains the right to use anonymized, non-identifiable data for internal process improvement purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Finvuo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of our services or this agreement.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Finvuo in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that they will meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee any specific financial outcome, tax savings, or business result from the use of our services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Finvuo and its owner(s), contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your use of our services, or your violation of any law or regulation.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Finvuo is an independent bookkeeping consultancy registered and operating in New Delhi, India, providing remote financial data support services to clients across the United States. To ensure a clear and fair framework for our U.S. clients, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Client’s primary business is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation via written electronic communication. If mediation fails within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be resolved by binding virtual arbitration. To accommodate both parties, all mediation and arbitration proceedings shall be conducted entirely online or by phone through a mutually agreed-upon virtual arbitration provider, avoiding the requirement of physical travel.

12. Modifications to Terms

Finvuo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
